Other things I like to do when my grandparents are in town

When my grandparents are in town we don't just like to do games we also to go for walks, play in the snow, and watch TV. We go for walks around the lake and around the city. My grandparents are really athletic and so they love to walk. We normally walk with my dog. We play in the snow with snowballs and snow guns. I also like to play on the trampoline with my grandparents. We love to watch TV together because we do it to take a break from being active. We watch a lot of shows on ABC and on Disney Channel. Some of the shows include Jessie, Bunk'd, and Girl Meets World. I love Bunk'd the best and my grandparents like Wheel of Fortune. When it is time to change what we are watching we will just go to different rooms in the house where there are other TV's. It normally happens when they have already watched the episode. A lot of the time we play games while watching TV. My grandpa's favorite thing to watch is Football on ESPN. And I hate Football, so that is normally when I go to a different channel or room. Now I have had to limit how much TV I watch because I have top be doing homework or practicing Volleyball. I love Volleyball. Next time I will be writing about What all my Grandma cooks.

My Favorite Games to play with my Grandparents

I have many favorite games, but all my favorite games get narrowed down when my grandparents. I like to play the White Bowl Game. The White Bowl Game is a game my family made up with the Nicholson's. It is almost like charades, but the only thing that is different is you don't act out you discribe the object and your team guesses the thing. You try to get as many as you can get in 60 seconds. The second game I like to play with my grandparents is Chicken Foot. It is played with dominoes and you start with the highest double there is and then you have to get there other dominoes on the starter double. Then you match the right domino to the corresponding domino on the dominoes that have been already played. Then you are trying to get down to zero dominoes. Then when scoring you get minus five if you went out first. Oh and my very last game I like to play is Mexican Trains. Mexican Trains is a game you also play with dominoes. You play the highest double to start and depending on how many people are playing, everybody has to play the same number and then you keep adding on to it. If you can't go you draw and if you can't go from there you can put your train out and if somebody else that is playing has a number that matches the double that was played, then they can start the train for you. For Mexican Train and Chicken Foot all you need is a set of 12 or a set of 15 dominoes. Tuesday at School

Today at school wasn't as bad as yesterday. I only got one assignment that is due tomorrow. The assignment was in Spanish and it was really easy compared to other assignments I have had. I did get some homework that is due Friday and that is in Social Studies and in Science. I do have homework for math, but I did a extra test and Ms Meyer gave me a free homework pass so I am thinking of using it this week. I am thinking of doing some of the problems, but I will automatically get full credit. I also have to take a spelling test on Friday and a math test on Thursday. Mr Streit gave us an original poetry assignment where we can get bonus points for presenting to the class and bonus points for allowing him to put the poems on a bulletin board. That's all the homework I have for this week, but I have to get my grades up because the end of the quarter is next week. Oh  and there is one more thing I get a five day weekend next week because it is the end of the quarter. That's all for today and I don't know what I will write about next week.

Friendships and Family

There are many important things in the world, but I think Friendships and Family are the most important. They can be long lasting friends and you can still make new friends, but keep the old. You live with the same family you whole. You know your whole family for your life even if you move away. My most favorite thing about friendships is making new friends and keeping the old. The most important part about family is always spending time with your family even if you don't live in there same house. My favorite thing to do with my friends are to just sit and hang out with them. My favorite thing to do with my family is play games and goof off. Everybody should find something they enjoy with there family a same with there friends. Ohh and one more important thing have fun. Next time is my Tuesday at school.

The first day back from Winter Break

I was not looking forward to the first day back from Winter Break because I knew we would get a lot of homework. So when I first got to school Advisory wasn't that bad. Then when I got to first period my teacher gave my class the end of Quarter 2 spelling test on Friday, then we have our Reading Logs due on Thursday, then we have our Journal or Blogs due Monday of next week, and then we have to write original poetry for a poetry book. Then I went to specialist and had gym, but I didn't get any homework so I was happy about that. Then I went to Science and my teacher didn't give us any homework so that period was great. After that, I went to fourth period and finished watching a video and did a fill in the blank song in Spanish, but no homework. Then I went to fifth period and my teacher gave us one quiz on Wednesday and one next Thursday,but then she gave us our usual homework. Finally it was time for sixth period and I had to take some notes and our class got a packet that we have to do on primary and secondary source, and notes for History Day. The day didn't turn out as bad as I thought it would be. I thought I would get so much homework, but I didn't. I do have to do 14 more entries in this blog by January 11. The one thing that I did was I planned out what I am going to write about the next few days and how many I am going to do each day. Two every day except 3 on Saturday and Sunday. next time I will write about Friendships and Family.

Snow and the Winter

I love the snow and so does my dog. Why my dog likes the snow is because she likes to eat the snow when she gets thirsty. So I would toss the ball and she would get thirsty and eat the snow. My dog also likes pouncing and jumping into the snow face first because she gets so happy that she is outside. Sometimes I will use a manual ball tosser and scoop up snow and through it at my dog and she loves it. In the winter time I also like to make snowman and put them in a cat and watch them melt. Also I like to make a fort and have a snowball fight. I have the snowball fight with Samantha and I on a team and my sister Sophia and her friend Renee. Sometimes I make a super big snowball and hide it till Sophia and Renee are making more snowballs and I through it right at there butts and it gets them. Then Samantha and I laugh, but when we are laughing we are sitting down so Sophia and Renee can't get to us. It is so much fun because Samantha and I always win. There is one more thing that I like to do in the Winter time. I love to jump on my trampoline with snow on it because you go up and land in the snow, but this year my dad chose to take out the netting in the middle so that we wouldn't ruin it. So this year I am going to jump into the center of the trampoline and land on the snow that is on the ground. It probably won't be as fun, but I ill make it fun somehow. Next I will talk about the first day back from winter break.

Christmas and New Years Break/ Winter Break

It wasn't the best Winter Break I have had because the best winter break I had was last Christmas and New Years. But this year I gave gifts to the less fortunate. I also got a Fit bit, so I am so happy about that. The first week I went to Illinois to hang with my moms side of the family. Then the second week of break I stayed home and hung out with my dads parents because the rest of the family didn't want to come to the cold Minnesota. They were all scared of the Minnesota cold weather. Last Years Winter Break was the best I have had because I flew from one side of the country to another. I flew from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania all the way across the country to San Diego, California. It was a whole day trip. But the thing that is hanging around in my mind is what my family is going to do for Winter Break next year. Every year we do Thanksgiving and New Years with one side of the family and Christmas with the other side of the family. So all I know for next year is that I will have Thanksgiving and New Years with my moms side of the family and Christmas with my dads side of the family.
