Time To Start High School

I can't believe it is time to start High School. It feels like just yesterday I was starting Kindergarten.

I went to Kindergarten at Lake Harriet Lower Campus and I stayed at the lower campus through my 2nd grade years. Then it was time to move on to Lake Harriet Upper Campus. I stayed at Lake Harriet Upper Campus from 3rd grade to 8th grade.

So many things at the lower campus have changed since I have been there. They have recently remodeled the lower campus and have put in so many new classrooms. And the worst part is the remodeled the kitchen so now they cook the food at the school rather then shipping it in from a manufacturer already cooked. I still miss the school even though I still get to go back to the school every once and a while because my neighbors go there and I sometimes have to pick them up if i am babysitting. I have so many fun memories at that school because i made so many with all my friends.

Then I moved on to the next up building the Upper Campus where I made so many new friends. I loved the Upper Campus. At the Upper Campus I had so many of my favorite teachers there and made so many new memories with all of my friends. My favorite year by far may of been 3rd grade until i got to 8th grade. In 3rd grade, my teacher did popcorn friday's every week. But then I got to 8th grade and the year flew by because one day it was the first day of school and then it was the day of the 8th grade dance competition. The 8th grade dance competition is where the gym teacher picks your groups, but you get up on stage and dance your heart out in front of more then 1,000 people. And there are gift cards for the top 3 places. And my group got 3rd, but still we placed. Then we had the 8th grade Recognition Ceremony where the graduate the 8th grade. Where the principal hands us a certificate and they show a baby picture to the crowd. I am really going to miss Lake Harriet because by far it was really hard to say goodbye to all my teachers. On the last day of school the Middle Schoolers go to Valley Fair. And when we got back we went around to all the teachers and i started crying when I got to Ms Weiher's room because she had a huge influence on a lot of people at that school. I wasn't the only person to cry, I cried with some of my other friends because I was going to not only that teacher, but all the other teachers at Lake Harriet Upper Campus.

But now it is time to move on to a new school, that is much larger and crazier. i am now going to Southwest High School. I can't believe I am already going into  High School. It is hard to realize that i am going to a completely different school an that I am going to have all new teachers. It is going to be hard to transition. But i am ready for High School. Can't wait.
