Blogging

When you are blogging you get to do stuff on line while typing. I personally like journaling because I love to write and I am a fast typer. I love to write things down acording to how I feel that say. My favorite entry so far is my apple butter weekend entries. I like to write about topics and my next blog is going to be about the Edmund Fitzgerald. The Edmund Fitzgerald is my history day topic and I like to write about it. I also am planning on writing about the presents I get and then my favorite present. I have 11 posts. I will write poems in my next entry to. That's all this time!

Christmas Decorations

My family loves Christmas. When it comes to time to set up the Christmas decorations we away set them up as a family. I like putting the ornaments on the tree. My sister and I get to decorate the upstairs. My parent set the nativity sets up and the mantel above the fireplace. My favorite part of decorating is setting up the train under the Christmas tree. My sisters favorite part is setting up the village under the tree. The thing my parents like to do is sett up the nativity sets and the lights outside the house. Outside this year we have lights on the house, trees with stars on top, and a 5 foot star that hangs from the balcony in on the top floor. This year it is my turn to hang the 5 foot star on the balcony and I can't wait to do that, but we don't do it till the last week of school before Christmas break/winter break.

My favorite Thanksgiving meals

I like a lot of food my favorite types of food are eating thanksgiving foods. I like eating the turkey because my family puts a special seasoning on and it makes the turkey taste very good. My dads mom makes a very good stuffing because it has so much flavor and spices. My dads mom also makes a sweet potato casserole and it has sweet potato and brown sugar and marshmallows on top. I always get to make the mash potato's because I make them the best. My families don't do the traditional green beans we add cheese and make it a casserole. My aunt makes a cheesy green bean casserole that has cheese and green beans and a special ingredient that I can't share. On my dads side we have macaroni and cheese that is homemade from scratch. I help do a lot of the cooking and so does my cousin on my moms side. I made a dessert that was a brownie layer, then a mint layer, and then a dark chocolate fudge layer. Thanksgiving is my favorite eating holiday!!!

My favorite Pets and Animals

I have many favorite animals in my life. My favorite cats are Meg and Hector which are Samantha's cats. My favorite snake is Fuego which is Ms Weiher snakes. My favorite Gecko is my own gecko named Leo. My favorite dog is Naomi and she is also mine. My second favorite dog is Salvador which is my neighbor Mary Ellen's dog. Also my second favorite dog is Wally which is my sister's friend  Renee's dog. I also like my kids I babysit's dogs are Lucy and El and the are the Potter's tow dogs. Another favorite dog is Yogi my cousin Allison and Cate's dog. My Uncle has Ponies and I love all of them just the same. My Uncle also has Horses and I love all the horses the same.

My Favorite Colors

I have many favorite colors. My most favorite ones are blue, teal, and turquoise. I like those colors because the are all light colors. In the pink category I like hot pink, light pink, and pale pink. I like all pink, but those ones are my absolute favorite. In the green area I like light green and that is all. I don't actually know why I like that color. I don't like any reds, oranges, and yellows, but I love any shade or color of purple. I love purple so much because it goes good with my eyes according to my parent and family. My most of all favorite color is teal because it just fits my personality, but the real reason why I like it is that it is a very light color and I can really go with any item of clothing in my closet. My Hobbies

I have so many favorite hobbies. My favorite one of all is playing volleyball because I get to work with a team. I also love to free write stories because you can write about anything you want to. One of my other favorite are reading books, but the books must be over 200 pages. Depending on what mode I am in I like to work on homework. Another one of my true favorites are cooking. I love to cook, it doesn't matter what type I just love doing it. I sometimes like to practice violin, but it isn't my favorite thing to do. I also love animals because I have a Dog named Naomi and  Leopard Gecko named Leo. My favorite exercises are running and biking. I like biking and running around lakes and through my neighborhood.

Sunday at Apple Butter

On Sunday we woke up at 10:00 am and left the house at 11:00 am. We went over and had a church service and my cousins and I had to say a speech. The service was abut an hour long and then we went out side to play some games. Then it was lunch time, so we came inside and ate different chili. There also was a chili competition where the best chili gets a spacial chili bowl that says all the people who have won in the previous years.Then after lunch it was time to pack up and clean up from the Apple Butter weekend. Once the packing up was done a lot of families had started saying good bye and heading off on the road. A couple hours later we went back to the farm house and packed up with my cousins. We choose not to go for a horse back ride. Finally my cousins left to go to the airport and my family and I hit the road back to Minnesota. It was an 8 hour drive back to Minnesota and I as cooped up in the very back of the car. I don't like sitting in the very back of the car because I am all alone, but I get a nice way to lounge. Saturday at Apple Butter

On Saturday we got up at 4:00am because my Uncle made us go and help start the fires. We were there for 30 minutes before somebody that we knew asked if we wanted to go help bake donuts, sticky pecan buns, and cinnamon rolls at our aunts place. All three of us love to bake so we said sure. In the morning it was very cold so we also wanted heat. When we got there we started making cinnamon rolls, then helped put the pecans on the sticky buns and then fried the donuts in the fryer. My aunt has a business so she has a lot of very professional appliances. When we were done baking our 2nd cousin came to pick us up and the breakfast foods to take back and deliver. We got to eat first because we made the food. After breakfast we helped stir the apple butter. Then it was time to start a game of capture the flag. I helped hid a groups flag by sitting on it. My cousins and I were sitting in a hay bailer. A hay bailer is a machine that bails hay. Nobody knew we were in there until after somebody got the flag for the other team and then we still kept it a secret because we just walked out with the flag in our hand and they didn't know where it was. After capture the flag we went and had lunch. After lunch it my cousins and I chose to go back to the farm house and take naps and do homework until it was time for dinner. We came back for dinner and after dinner it was time for the shotgun tournament and my cousins and I won the tournament. In the tournament they shot clay disks up into the air using a machine and my cousins and I worked together to win. Then after the shotgun tournament it was time for the hayride. On the hayride the driver picks somebody new to drive and I was chosen to do it and I was allowed to bring my cousins along because one sat on either side of me and they helped drive. Finally it was time for more night games this time all we did was play ghost in the grave yard and I won. At the end of the night my cousins and I had to help clean the big kettles that the apple butter is made in. We finally were able to go home and do more homework. Allison, Cate, and I were all so tired we fell right in bed that night. nex time I will be talking about Sunday at apple butter. See you soon.

Friday of the Family Reunion

We started driving down on Thursday and drove halfway and stayed the night at a hotel. We woke up at 8:30 and we didn't leave the hotel till 10:00 or 10:30. Once we were on the road we got to the Farm House where we would be staying. I had Chicken Noodle Soup and some peppers. I was so glad to be out of the very back of the car because my sister had brought her best friend down this year. I did a lot of homework on the ride down and while I was there. The time flew by from when I got there and when it was time to go over to where we make the Apple Butter and meet my cousins there. When I first arrived I went out side and played with the little kids. When my cousins finally got there we started leading group games. My cousins names are Allison and Cate. When the games were over we went inside the big silver shed and started helping peel the apples. When the apples were done Ali, Cate and I helped put food out for diner. We had Pork Barbecue Sandwiches. I started more games like Ghost in the Graveyard and Hide in go Seek. It was really dark so when I hid I would lay down in the middle of the grass and nobody would see me because it was so dark. Then we went back and did homework because my cousins also had homework so we all did homework together. We had to go to bed earlier then we normally do because the next day we had to get up very early. The next day we had to start the fires. Tomorrow I will be talking about Saturday at my Family Reunion. See you tomorrow

Halloween

For Halloween I was a witch. My witches costume was purple and black with a purple hat with black lace or mesh. I wore boots and my sisters friend did my make up. My mom and dad were a goblin and a cave women. My sister was a witch and was handing out candy with her friend at her friends house. My dog was Ms. Piggy from the Muppet's. Every person who came to the door laughed at my dog because she was a good girl and my parents were bad people. My mom bought to many bags of candy so after i was done trick or treating i gave the extra candy and my candy that i didn't want to Simon. Simon asked for my candy before Halloween and so I said I would give him my extra candy to him and Samantha gave her candy to Ben. Ben was late so i yelled at my top of my lungs in the middle of the street saying Ben come get Samantha's candy in the next 5 minutes or you don't get it at all. Next time I will be talking about Friday at my Family Reunion. See you next time.

First Day of the Second Quarter

It was good to be back in school. I got spelling, a new lunch period because I got moved to lunch A. I had so much fun being back at school because I actually like school unlike other people. I like the first day back for each quarter because it makes me feel happy to be getting homework again because in the last quarter for me there was like 3-4 weeks hat I didn't have any homework. I also feel that the first quarter went by fast because today was already a new day to the second quarter. I think my favorite part of this quarter is going to be the journaling/blogging for Language arts with the one and only Mr. Streit. I love t journal and write so that is why I think that journaling is going to be my favorite part of the second quarter. That's all I have to say for the first day of the second quarter and I will be back tomorrow with the topic of Halloween; so tune in tomorrow.

10/26/15 School

Today in Advisory we watched Peter Pan. We watched the part where Hook has captured Tiger Lily and Peter Pan is trying to rescue Tiger Lily. The lost boys got captured by the Indians and they won't let go until Tiger Lily is back. Tiger Lily is the tribes leader and if Tiger Lily isn't back by dawn then the Indians are going to kill the lost boys. Then in Language Arts we got our journals corrected and the first part of the study guide. We also read the Book Thief and Anne Frank. We did some individual  work to start and then we did partner work at the end. At the end of class we learned about the blogs and where to go to make one. Then we watched a Happy Birthday thing that the Murphy's sent to Mr. Striet. Then in Specialist I had to run the mil. I got 8 minutes and 50 second. Then we did the sit ups test. I was one of the better girls in my class. I got 54 sit ups and I beat most of the boys. Then in Science we talked about genetics. We did alot of writing and everybody the class whined when Ms. Weiher flipped the page. Then in Spanish my fellow classmates watched a movie while I had to go make up what I was going to miss for a Mathcount tournament. In Math we did a little work sheet and passed back things. Then it was time for Social Studies. In social studies we did a Pidaia discussion.  I had to leave early for a mathcounts competition.
